Abstract

The final result of the Ahl e Fatrah (أھل الفترة) is a controversial issue, and there are three statements by researchers about their final result. Which include being saved, being punished, and being tested on the Day of Judgment. While a total of eight sayings have been narrated about the people affiliated with the Ahl e Fatrah. In view of a verse which says that faith in God alone, faith in the Day of Judgment and good deeds are sufficient for salvation in the Hereafter, there is a misconception about the Jews and Christians of the present age whether they are also affiliated with the people of Ahl e Fatrah? Is the salvation of the followers of the Divine Books of the present age possible only by believing in Allah and the Last Day? The theory of the unity of religions has made these questions very important, so the solution to these questions has been presented in this research paper. This research leads to the fact that belief in Allah and the Last Day alone can bring salvation only to those Jews and Christians to whom the message of the Prophet Hood has not reached at all, or in a vague way that which does not complete the argument. And the verses of the Qur'an which only mention Allah, the Last Day, and the righteous deeds as the means of salvation, also include faith in the prophethood of the Prophet.
