Aims and Scope
Rushd is a peer-reviewed journal and HEC Quality parameters are being followed strictly in its publication. Rushd publishes at least two volumes per year. Maximum Limit of research article per issue is 15 as per direction of Higher Education commission Pakistan.
We focus on all domains of Islamic Studies and are not limited to: Basic Islamic Sciences The Quran, Hadith, Exegesis, Islamic Jurisprudence, Kalam, History of Islamic Sects, Arabic Language and Literature; Philosophy and Religious Sciences: Islamic Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Logic, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Education of Religion, and History of Religions; Islamic History and Arts: Islamic History, History of Islamic Arts.
Rushd aims to provide a forum for the study of Islam and Muslim societies in a global context with added focus on the Pakistan and the sub-continent. It encourages interdisciplinary studies of the Islamic world that are cross-national and comparative to encourage interaction among academics from relevant and various traditions of learning.
