During British rule in the subcontinent, Christian missionaries aimed to discredit Islamic teachings and convert Muslims to Christianity. Mawlānā Sanaullah Amritsari (1868-1948) countered their logic and philosophy through writing, speaking, and debating. He then wrote a comprehensive commentary on the Holy Qur'an in Urdu, which provided strong arguments for the maturity of Muslim beliefs and answered objections and doubts raised by Christian missionaries about Islam. The commentary answered objections using references from Christian scriptures and raised counter-objections on their beliefs, making the answers more acceptable and helping them understand Islam. This research paper aimed to strengthen the faith of Muslims and provide an understanding of Qur'an, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Muslim teachings to nonMuslims, potentially leading to their acceptance of Islam.
