A Comparative Review of selected issues in Khair ul Touzeeh and Khair ul Mufateeh

Abstract

Hadith knowledge is extensive and encompasses the six major collections of hadith known as Sihah Sitta, which are summarized in "Mishkaat-ul-Masabeeh." Numerous interpretations of Mishkaat-ul-Masabeeh have been written in the subcontinent, including Arabic, Persian, and Urdu versions produced by scholars in various eras. The Urdu interpretations of Mishkaat-ul-Masabeeh include "Khair ul Mafatih" and "Khair ul Touzeeh" by Maulana Mufti Abdul Rasheed Sahib, consisting of six volumes. "Khair ul Mafatih" is a detailed research phase of Mishkaat-ul-Masabeeh, chosen for its simplicity and ease of understanding. The research aims to examine the style, characteristics, and comparison of these two Ahadith books in a narrative and reasoned manner. The author of "Khair ul Mafatih" clarifies difficult words in the Holy Hadith, makes complex researches easier through question and answer, deduces new legal issues, explains religious concepts with arguments, describes the background of hadith narrators, and provides headings and paragraphs for clarity. This explanation is more comprehensive than others.
