Abstract

“Feminism is for everybody: Passionate Politics”, a fmous of American author Bell Hooks, is a short introduction to feminist theory and movement. Hooks applies her critical analysis to the most contentious and challenging issues facing feminists today including reproductive rights, sexual violence, race, class and work. The study explores that in the early stages, feminism was a movement of women’s liberation from men but now this has become a man-hating movement.
