Abstract

Imam Ibn Hazm was a hadith, jurist, and historian as well as a great writer, poet, principal, and theologian. He has not only presented a complete narrative of his own in each art but also provided it with a complete system of reasoning. Before him, the jurists did not have the honor of having formulated any principal system of their own in philosophy, rhetoric, literature, aesthetics, or history. It is Ibn Hazm who wrote "Tawq al-Hamamah" and explained his principled position on aesthetics and love. Imam Ibn Hazm's personality was very versatile and versatile.
