روایت بالمعنی کے قبول ورد میں اختلافاتِ محدثین کا علمی جائزہ
A scholarly review of the differences of the muhadditheen in the narration of hadith with meaning
Abstract
There are two ways of narrating the hadith, one is that the words with which the hadith is recited should be narrated in the same way without changing them. This method of narration of hadith is valid and permissible by consensus. Another way is to narrate the hadith with meaning instead of restricting the words. There is a difference between the narrators regarding the legitimacy and illogicality of this method of Riwayat. According to some Muhadditheen, the narration of the hadith with meaning is absolutely permissible and some Muhadditheen is convinced of absolute illogicality while Jamahur Muhadditheen declares it permissible with a few conditions. All Muhadditheen present certain hadiths, sayings of the Companions, and sayings of the Salaf as evidence for their own opinions. The study of all these texts shows that it is more preferable to adhere to the words in the tradition of hadith. But if the narrator is a Hafiz, reliable, having a correct knowledge of the words of the Hadith and their meanings, then the tradition with meaning is permissible for him.
